Skiing and Snowboarding Fitness Training
Don’t let an injury ruin a fun trip to the ski slopes. We offer skiing and snowboarding fitness training that will ensure you’re safe and ready for a trip to the mountains. To reduce your risk of injury, our program focuses on any issues that could cause a nasty spill and subsequent injury.
Our skiing and snowboarding fitness training starts with a 45-minute fitness test that will assess:
- Cardiovascular Flexibility
- Plyometric Ability/Control
- Ski/Snowboard Specific Strength
From this test, we will determine your:
- Skill level – beginner, intermediate or advanced
- Strengths and deficits
- Potential for injury
Our staff will then provide skiing and snowboarding fitness training that will improve your strength and skills, as well as help you prevent falls and injuries such as torn ligament in your knee (ACL tear). The goal is to work on any deficits over an 8-week period and then retake that portion of the test to see if you’re ready for the slopes.
