What is worker's compensation therapy?

Worker’s compensation therapy is designed to safely return injured workers to work as quickly as possible. Physical therapists create a program that mimics the injured worker’s job duties to assess deficiencies and address them. The goal is to bring function back to the level needed for job performance goals.

What are the benefits?

In addition to getting injured workers back on the job, worker’s compensation therapy is intended to increase strength, endurance and cardiovascular function, mobility and flexibility, ergonomics, safe lifting and body mechanics. Through treatment, patients will better understand how different movements affect their body, making them less susceptible to reinjury.
